In this blog post, we’ll discuss the latest changes to the Nex Artist platform, following the v1.2.0 mobile app update. If you have any questions, feel free to send us a DM on social media (@nexartist).
What's new in v1.2.0?
Being the second major update to the Nex Artist mobile app, v1.2.0 brings about a vast number of much needed improvements:
(NEW) Multiple Sub-Genre Selection – Listeners can now select up to 10 sub-genres for a given top level genre to further help refine the search results.
(NEW) Instagram Story Profile Share Link – Artist profiles can now be shared directly to your instagram story via the share button (above track previews).
(NEW) Improved Artist Experience – Artists can now view the last 30 days worth of stats from their profile page: Impressions, Profile Views, Seconds Listened, Social Links Clicked, Track Links Clicked, Event Link Clicks and New Fans. Artists can also edit their bio directly from their artist profile page on the mobile app (yes, emojis can now be used!).
(NEW) Listener Profile Pictures – You can now make your listener profile stand out by uploading a profile picture from the account page.
Refined design and user experience – Most of the app screens have undergone some much needed TLC, which results in a more uniform look across the board.
Improved performance – Certain parts of the app are now cached to reduce load times and improve overall performance.
The artist web app has also undergone a facelift, in-line with the style of the new v1.2.0 mobile app update. In addition to a new dark-mode appearance, the web app comes fused with several new sleek animations to enhance the artist experience.
