TuneCore launches their pay-per-use AI mastering service

TuneCore believe their new service will help artists on a budget to increase their chances of their songs being played by listeners worldwide.

The mastering tool uses AI to fix technical issues found with the uploaded tracks, and within a few minutes of processing, returns an optimised version of the track.

Artists can upload and test the mastering tool with as many tracks as they like for free. It currently costs $5 per master to download the optimised version.

Splice extends its Create feature to recommend samples based on uploaded loops

Splice users can now upload their own instrumental, drums or vocal loop as inspiration for a compatible Stack.

Create uses AI to analyse the uploaded loop and suggests high-quality, musician-made samples from their extensive catalog that matches the track’s vibe, key, and tempo.

Splice has confirmed it will ‘never share your sounds or use your sounds to train AI models’ in a bid to reassure artists of their rights.
